The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, commonly referred to PRASA, is an establishment based in South Africa that dedicates themselves to providing the best kind of passenger services that is based on the efforts of sustainability. The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa is offering the PRASA Bursaries programme to South Africa university students who are either disabled or female. Additionally, the PRASA Bursaries are available towards students who are pursuing any of the courses below:

  • Industrial Engineering
  • Signalling
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Branding and Communication

PRASA (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa) Bursary Requirements
The PRASA Bursary is available to a hand select of students. However, due to the special vision and missions of the programme, the bursary is only allocated for individuals for disabled students, as well as female students. This is to ensure that these two minority groups deserve the equal study opportunities they are oftentimes overshunned from.

  • Agree to sign the PRASA Disability Declaration Form
  • Letter of confirmation from your respective Medical Practitioner regarding your disability
  • A valid copy of your South African Identity Document
  • Valid proof of your address of your current residency
  • Valid copy of your most recent Curriculum Vitae.

Attachment Documents for Female Students
