To realize those visions, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries pledges to deliver professionally excellent food services through various talent-enhancing opportunities, including providing bursary supports to South African&#8217;s current and future students in their selected field of studies and universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries&#8217; Bursary Schemes and Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nAs parts of its bursary schemes, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries of South Africa commits to fully-fund recipients&#8217; tuition fees on the selected study programmes offered by its partnering South African public and private universities.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on their budget availabilities, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries also disburse financial supports to aid their recipients&#8217; university-related costs, namely, accommodation, meals, and books-related costs. On top of all, bursary recipients will also receive monthly allowances from the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates should possess these following criteria in order to satisfy the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries&#8217; bursary programme&#8217;s requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a South African person.<\/li>\n<li>Intend to study in at least the National Diploma level and at the most Postgraduate level of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries&#8217; scarce subjects in selected partner universities.<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 50-59-worth of marks in the National Senior Certificate&#8217;s Mathematics and Physical Science subjects (for National Diploma level) or 60-69 marks in the same subjects in their National Senior Certificate (for all BSc candidates, except for BSc in the University of KwaZulu-Natal&#8217;s Bioresource Engineering with a minor in the Agricultural Engineering and the University of Pretoria&#8217;s BVSc programme that need at least 70-79 percent marks in the National Certificate&#8217;s Mathematics and Physical Science subjects).<\/li>\n<li>Ready to be a part of interns with an assigned mentor when selected (for Postgraduate BTech, BSc, Hons, MTech, MSc, DTech and PhD candidates).<\/li>\n<li>Be a previously disadvantaged, impoverished, or disabled South African from South African&#8217;s rural remote areas (will be given first priority).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nda.agric.za\/doaDev\/sideMenu\/educationAndTraining\/docs\/Bursary%20Advert-2018%20Academic%20Year.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries&#8217; bursary programme&#8217;s PDF flyer<\/a>, only candidates enrolling in one of these below-mentioned following programmes and universities that will be considered:<\/p><!--CusAdsVi2-->\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>BSc Bioresource Engineering (Agricultural Engineering): University of KwaZulu-Natal<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc): University of Pretoria<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>BSc Viticulture and Oenology: University of Stellenbosch<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>BSc Forestry and Wood Science: University of Stellenbosch<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>BSc Oceanography and Marine Biology: University of Cape Town<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>BSc Ichthyology specialising in Aquaculture: Rhodes University<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>BSc Plant Pathology, Food Science, or Entomology: Any South African-based universities<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>National Diploma: Forestry: Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>National Diploma: Marine Science: Cape Peninsula University of Technology<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma: Food Technology: Any South African-based universities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply for the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries&#8217; Bursary Programme<\/strong><br \/>\nSouth African people candidates who wish to apply for the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries&#8217; bursary supports for the above-mentioned programmes and field of studies should first and foremost click on the &#8220;Vacancies&#8221; tab on <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.daff.gov.za\/\">the Department&#8217;s official home page<\/a> to download the application form.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should attach additional relevant supporting documents, such as certified ID copies and transcripts, along with their already filled-in application form.
