Throughout the years, ISASA has been helping a total of 850 member schools all across the nation, irregardless of socio-economic, cultural, or religious differences. At the moment, there are a total of 190 000 students attaining their education under ISASA. As a non-profit organization, ISASA aims to serve the public through great efforts in the education department. One of the main goals is to ensure that everyone in the nation is entitled to high quality education. In conjunction with the South African Mathematics and Science Teacher Intern Programme, commonly shortened to SAMSTIP, this bursary is the answer to in providing a solution to the nation&#8217;s shortage of skills, especially in the Mathematics and Science teaching department.<\/p>\n<p>Under the partnership of the Department of Education, SAMSTIP, and Investec, local individuals who are recognized as Senior and Further Education and Training (FET) teachers, especially in the are of Mathematics and Science, will stand a chance to attain bursaries that will help them attain their four-year Bachelor of Education degree, along with a one-year PGCE certificate specifically in UNISA.<\/p>\n<p>Awardees of the ISASA Bursaries will be entitled to a series of benefits that will truly help them along their educational paths as future teachers, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial funding for UNISA expenses, prescribed study materials, stipends for accommodation and transport, and an allowance<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship under the guidance of professional and highly experienced school teachers<\/li>\n<li>Gain accessibility to a list of teaching resources and technology<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to train in any ISASA School<\/li>\n<li>Be entitled to the academic enrichment programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ISASA (Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa) Bursary Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ISASA Bursary is open towards students who are able to comply to the eligibility criteria that has been standardized by the committee beforehand. This is to ensure that the committee is able to seek out candidates who truly deserve the bursary as a means to further chase their ambitions in the education department. However, if you insist on this programme, make sure you have all these qualifications ticked off before registering:<\/p><!--CusAdsVi2-->\n<ul>\n<li>Considered as school leavers who hold a Matric Exemption (Bachelor Pass), and has attained a score of at least 60% or above for the key subjects of English, Mathematics, Life Science\/Physical Science<\/li>\n<li>Considered as a student of tertiary institutions with credits in the key subjects of Mathematics and Sciences (Life Science\/Physical Sciences)<\/li>\n<li>Any graduate who has specialized in the subjects of Mathematics and\/or Science<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must currently be in between 18-26 years old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply ISASA (Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa) Bursary 2020<\/strong><br \/>\nTo apply for the ISASA Bursary, all incoming candidates are required to download the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isasa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Official Application Form<\/a> to start off. After retrieving the application form, make sure you have it all filled in with the corresponding details.
