Structured under several legislation, which includes the NYDA Act and the draft Integrated Youth Development Strategy, the NYDA puts a strong commitment into addressing any issues that might have anything to do with the progress of local youth development in the country. These obstacles could either takes place within the local government, provincial, or national scale. Whatever the challenges, the NYDA makes sure they are inclusive to the point they are able to appeal to different kinds of demographics.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the biggest obstacles that are currently being faced by the general youth public are mainly socio-economic issues such as unemployment, the lack of equality, poverty in underprivileged groups, and the lack of proper healthcare for those who truly need. NYDA&#8217;s mission is to minimize the impact of the issues until there are no longer none. By reducing the number and intensity of these aforementioned issues, it is hoped that the local youths of South Africa are able to persevere and bring out their maximum potential with a high amount of support.<\/p>\n<p>In South Africa, there is a popular programme commonly referred to as the Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund. This scholarship was founded as part of the legacy of Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu, one of the nation&#8217;s struggle icons known for his heroic actions during the era of apartheid in South Africa. Solomon Mahlangu is highly commemorated for his past actions. There are places in the country where buildings and roads are built in honor of Solomon Mahlangu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About NYDA (National Youth Development Agency) &#8211; Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund 2020<\/strong><br \/>\nThe NYDA is currently offering the Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu Post Graduate Scholarship Fund for specifically for local South Africa post-graduate students. In order to be considered for the scholarship, candidates must attain at least a year of Postgraduate qualifications (except diplomas), and a year of TVET Qualifications specializing in the field of Creative Arts. Allocated to mainly students pursuing their education in public institutions, the main purpose of the Scholarship Fund is to give young students the much needed support and motivation to carry on with their full-time studies with the necessary financial assistance.
