Unlike any other corporations, the HCI Foundation believes in the act of encouraging and improving the well- being of their fellow South African citizens. In order to do so, the HCI Foundation continuously create positive chances towards the underprivileged groups and local communities by holding successful partnerships with stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, the HCI Foundation has been conducting a series of programmes that allows the promotion of sustainability and constant personal development. Some of these programmes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Youth empowerment &amp; gender awareness<\/li>\n<li>Water, sanitation and environmental education<\/li>\n<li>Bursaries for tertiary level students<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy &amp; human rights<\/li>\n<li>Arts &amp; culture development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About HCI Foundation Bursaries 2020<\/strong><br \/>\nThe HCI Foundation Bursary Programme is a scheme that helps provide financial assistance towards well-deserving university students in the country of South Africa. This bursary scheme is allocated for undergraduate students, to any student attaining education on a Honours level. Additionally, what makes this bursary scheme a common favorite is that it caters to any choice of studies and in any South African university, whether it is a public institution or a University of Technology. However, 1st years students will be given bigger priority, and other students in different years of their studies will be given consideration if there are positions available.<\/p>\n<p>The HCI Foundation Bursaries are provided to well-deserving individuals who are enrolled in any of these South African universities. In total, the bursary schemes amounts to a total of ZAR 33 000 provided on a yearly basis, which will then be used to cover any tuition expenses. However, since it is a partial bursary, the bursary scheme does not provide financial funding for other expenses such as study materials, accommodation, transport, allowances, or meals. It also strictly does not pay off courses that needed to be repeated. Besides courses provided in public universities, the HCI Foundation Bursaries are given out to students attaining their B. Tech or Honours, and Post-Graduate Diploma studies as well.<\/p>\n<p>As of now, the HCI Foundation Bursaries are provided to students who are able to maintain their academic track record. With over 250 bursaries constantly provided from time to time, there is always a spot for everyone. After being successfully selected by the bursary, your payment will be granted in every June. However, unlike other bursary schemes, the financial funding will not go to your hands, but it will be directly paid to your respective universities. As a way to repay the bursary, the committee does not expect anything financial in return. However, it is expected that grantees take part in social community projects and report their study and volunteering activities back to the HCI Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Despite attaining an external loan or partial bursary from any other establishment, you may still be allowed to attain a HCI Foundation Bursary. However, if you are attaining a full-time bursary, or a high-cost partial bursary, you will not be entitled to the HCI Foundation Bursary. Since you will be withdrawn from this programme due to such circumstances, your bursary will be given to another student that heavily requires the financial assistance. If you happen to receive a full-time bursary or any other high-cost partial bursary, you must have this reported to the HCI Foundation through e-mail at bp@hcifoundation.co.za.<\/p>\n<p>One you have been selected for the HCI Foundation Bursary, you must be available for a residential workshop taking over the course of 2 days in their respective cities, Again, the bursary scheme will be given out to students who have been continuously attaining their education in a South African universities. Each of these items below will play a crucial role in decided whether you are allowed to be a part of the bursary scheme or not. This is because the committee is only seeking students who truly deservce the financial assistance as a means to improve their well-being. Failure to meet all of these criteria will result in failure from the application procedure. Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcifoundation.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Official HCI Foundation Website<\/a> to do a small background check on the establishment.<\/p>\n<p>The HCI Foundation Bursary Requirements are as listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa<\/li>\n<li>Refugees and asylum seekers are entitled to the bursary<\/li>\n<li>Currently attaining their Honours or Postgraduate Diploma studies<\/li>\n<li>Is in their first year of education<\/li>\n<li>A student of a South African of a Public University or University of Technology<\/li>\n<li>Has score of at least 55% for the Matric examinations of finals<\/li>\n<li>Has a household family income of ZAR 37 500\/month or less<\/li>\n<li>Maximum age of 35 years old<\/li>\n<li>The bursary scheme will not be awarded to:\n<ul>\n<li>Part time students<\/li>\n<li>Distance learning students<\/li>\n<li>FET Colleges students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply HCI Foundation Bursary 2020<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested in signing up for the HCI Foundation Bursary? First off, be sure to check the bursary&#8217;s availability status at the <a href=\"https:\/\/bursary.hcifoundation.co.za\/BursaryHome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">HCI Foundation Bursary Portal<\/a>. As an added noted, the bursary scheme is offered on a yearly basis. If the bursary is not opened yet, don&#8217;t fret. You can come back the following year to check its availability. However, if it is, you can proceed with the application instructions. Once you are sure of the bursary&#8217;s availability status, you will be required follow these steps below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Register for a valid account<\/strong>. After creating your account, sign in to gain access to your application form.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complete the Application Form<\/strong>. Once you have logged into your account, you will be displayed your application form. Be sure to have it completed with with only correct information &#8211; candidates found to be falsifying information will be disqualified from the bursary applications.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Have your documents uploaded and sent.<\/strong> Upon completion of your application form, be sure to attach all of your important documents and have them sent in. These documents include a valid copy of your Identity Document, household income, a valid affidavit, valid proof of grants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wait for the official announcement.<\/strong> Announcements will be made to everyone who has applied for the bursary scheme, regardless whether you have been accepted or not.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>All applications must be sent in before the closing date. Any late applications or applications with any incomplete documents will not be acknowledged by the bursary committee.
