As one of the most prominent establishments in the field, SAPOA has has more than 50 years in bringing together the country&#8217;s property investors. SAPOA acts as a space for these individuals to further promote the local commercial property sector. With its great influence, SAPOA acts as a bridge between investors and the government\/stakeholders should any of them have any inquiries and concerns regarding the evolving property industry.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, SAPOA is based in multiple areas in South Africa. Besides its headquarters in Sandton, Gauteng, SAPOA is also based in the areas of Durban, East London, Limpopo, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and Mpumalanga. In total, members of SAPOA have managed to rack up a stunning combined portfolio that amounts up to almost ZAR 500 billion. Considering SAPOA&#8217;s humble beginnings, the growth of this establishment has been regarded as highly impressive, and it is not just receiving the recognition of domestic institutions, but also international figures as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About SAPOA (South Africa Property Owners Association) Bursaries 2020-2021<\/strong><br \/>\nThe South Africa Property Owners Association (SAPOA) is offering bursary programmes to students who have the potential to become a great asset in the property industry. The SAPOA Bursaries were first started as a means to seek out well-deserving individuals interested in making a contribution towards the field of commercial property. Through the financial assistance courtesy of the SAPOA Bursaries, students are able to put out their best during their higher education. Hopefully, the SAPOA Bursaries will be more than enough to provide the suitable amount of monetary protection for selected grantees.<\/p>\n<p>The SAPOA Bursaries were established to achieve several goals, which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bringing forth a new generation of insightful young individuals into the local commercial property industry and introducing diversity into the South African demographics<\/li>\n<li>Introducing the world of commercial property towards students who are still in schools and higher education institutions to ensure that there will be capable re-generations<\/li>\n<li>Providing more opportunities towards Black people who deserve an education in any Property-based course as well as a bridge towards the industry<\/li>\n<li>Fulfilling the need for more capable individuals who can meet the shortage of scarce skills in the Commercial Property Industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For now, the SAPOA Bursaries is only available for South African university students or University of Technology students who are pursuing a full-time education in any either of these following area of studies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc Real Estate<\/li>\n<li>BCom Property Valuation and Management<\/li>\n<li>BSc Urban and Regional Planning<\/li>\n<li>BSc Property Management<\/li>\n<li>BSc Construction Studies<\/li>\n<li>BSc Property Studies<\/li>\n<li>BSc Town and Regional Planning<\/li>\n<li>BSc Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li>BCom Finance with Property Valuation and Management as a major.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SAPOA (South Africa Property Owners Association) Bursary Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nTo apply for the SAPOA Bursaries, all interested applicants must be able to fulfill the eligibility criteria that comes with the programme. All of these items below will be used by the selection committee to fully assess all of their applicants on a fair basis. Failure to meet all of these requirements below may result in disqualification from the application procedure. Therefore, make sure you pay attention to the requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How are bursaries awarded?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must possess impressive academic merits<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must display the need for urgent financial assistance<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be able to meet the requirements that are asked of by their respective higher education institutions<\/li>\n<li>The amount of chosen candidates are subject to the funds that are currently available at the year of registration<\/li>\n<li>All funding will be directly transferred to their respective universities as well as necessary service provides<\/li>\n<li>However, under certain situations, the funding will be transferred directly to the students (as per accordingly)<\/li>\n<li>All decisions made by the SAPOA Bursary committee are final.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who is eligible for a SAPOA Bursary?<\/strong><\/p><!--CusAdsVi2-->\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must be recognized as a legitimate South African citizen\/naturalized citizen<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be planning to pursue their education or are currently pursuing their degrees in any Commercial Property-related course<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be planning or are currently studying in an accredited South African tertiary institution that has been recognized under the Council for Higher Education (CHE)<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who wish to pursue a post-graduate qualification (e.g. Master&#8217;s, PhD) under the SAPOA bursary are NOT allowed unless under certain circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply SAPOA (South Africa Property Owners Association) Bursary 2020-2021<\/strong><br \/>\nCandidates who have fulfilled the aforementioned requirements may now proceed to apply for the SAPOA Bursary. First things first, all candidates must download the <a href=\"https:\/\/vacancyupdate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/SAPOA-Bursary-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Official Application Form<\/a>. Once the application form is in your hands, please pay attention to these instructions below before filling in the form:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read all of the applications queries clearly before completing it<\/li>\n<li>Use only BLOCK LETTERS in the form<\/li>\n<li>All queries must be filled in with correct personal information<\/li>\n<li>Candidates discovered to be falsifying any parts of their application form will automatically be disqualified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once your application form is completed, you will need to move on to the next step.
