As a leading sports establishment, SASCOC holds a major responsibility in promoting the sports and athletics field in the nation and create new-found relationships and networks with international sports establishments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About SASCOC (South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee) Bursaries 2020-2021<\/strong><br \/>\nThe SASCOC Bursary is a programme that aims to support fellow South African athletes are who are pursuing to become qualified professionals in their fields. The purpose behind this programme is to enable a medium in which more and more athletes are encouraged to learn even further and sharpen themselves on a national and provincial scale, all whilst attaining their formal certifications in fully-credible institutions. Furthermore, this will create a sense of importance within the sports department and greatly contribute to the nation&#8217;s transformation agenda.<\/p>\n<p>There are several fields which are in line with the bursary&#8217;s core values, which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sports Management<\/li>\n<li>Human Movement Studies\/Science<\/li>\n<li>Events Management<\/li>\n<li>Exercise Science<\/li>\n<li>Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Sports Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SASCOC (South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee) Bursary Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe SASCOC Bursary is a relatively general programme that is highly inclusive and welcomes all individuals from different demographics in South Africa. In order to sign up for this programme, candidates must simply be an official citizen of South Africa. On top of that, individuals must also currently be in Grade 12 of their education by the time they apply for this bursary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply SASCOC (South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee) Bursary 2020-2021<\/strong><br \/>\nFirst and foremost, all interested candidates of the SASCOC Bursary must download the <a href=\"https:\/\/vacancyupdate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/SASCOC-Bursary-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Official Application Form.<\/a> After downloading it, candidates must fill in all the questions with only accurate information. Candidates found to be falsifying any of their given information will automatically be disqualified from the programme. Additionally, candidates submitting in incomplete forms will also be disregarded from the programme as well.<\/p><!--CusAdsVi2-->\n<p>Applicants must also submit in these following documents as well, such ash:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A valid application form<\/li>\n<li>A valid motivational letter (maximum 250 words, explaining why you deserve the financial assistance)<\/li>\n<li>Your most recent Curriculum Vitae<\/li>\n<li>A valid copy of your academic transcripts until Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>A valid copy of your Identity Document<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application dossiers must be sent via e-mail with &#8220;SASCOC Bursary Fund&#8221; in the Subject Line. Alternatively, if you are sending in hard copies of the application dossier through fax or postal carriage instead, you must have extra copies of the documents you are sending in for safekeeping.
