Mariswa, formerly known as UWP, is an establishment that is formed on the basis of providing engineering consulting services on a multidisciplinary level. Mariswa is currently operating on a nation-wide level by meeting the demands and needs of clients all over South Africa, as well as surrounding nations. Founded in the year 1972, Mariswe was once founded as a establishment that focused more on transpiration engineering. As of now, Mariswe focuses on other sectors such as management services, water and sanitation, mining, development engineering , and structures.
With a total of 245 workers under their belt, Mariswe has an entire workforce operating in a total of 13 offices all over South Africa. In addition, there are 60 offices operating in countries such as Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Botswana, and Zambia. Mariswe – Civil Engineering Bursary Requirements
The Mariswe – Civil Engineering Bursary is available for students who are able to meet the qualifications that are asked of the committee. In order to be eligible for the bursary programme, candidates must be officially recognized as citizens of South Africa. Additionally, candidates are to be pursuing an educational qualification in BSc (Eng), BEng, BTech. Additionally, candidates who are pursuing a post graduate studies in Civil Engineering at an accredited university in South Africa or Technikon. For candidates who are undergraduate students, everyone must be able to finish the first year of their academic studies. Furthermore, priority will be offered to candidates who are originating from previously disadvantaged communities.
