To be eligible for the Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund, applicants are required to fulfill all of these pre-requisite qualifications that have been determined by the committee beforehand. The Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund Requirements are as stated below:

  • Must show a proof of enrollment as a full-time students (1st year) in a South African Public University
  • For high school learners, should you plan on enrolling in a South African Public University, you must earn your National Senior Certificate beforehand
  • Has achieved the University Admission Points with an average aggregate score of 70% in your NSC examinations
  • Officially recognized as a South African student
  • Must not be over 35 years old
  • Able to show proof of requiring financial assistance (e.g. a household income not more than ZAR 15 000/month)
  • Show a sense of involvement in community services.
